| Do the parade of the all greats down at Tiananmen Square. Known as ’The Gate of Heavenly Peace, Tiananmen is the world's largest outdoor square at a sprawling 440, 000 sq meter found in the heart of Beijing of which life and traffic radiate in a circular manner outwards. |

In the past, Tiananmen was the original gateway to the Forbidden City and connected the Temple of Heaven to the palace. Built and burnt down several times, its recent incarnation is a modern creation that belies the old tradition that land was never built for large public gatherings. Hence, Tiananmen Square ushered in the new modern China and is recognized as the symbol of the new China away from the old Feudal China under its leader, Mao Zedong.
